A cross-channel marketing campaign was needed to kick-off the Library's Back to School shopping season. Every competitor would be presenting the same message, so our concept had to set us apart.
Our Approach
We thought the best way to receive the biggest impact in the marketplace was to get in front of customers every week while they were getting ready for the students to come back to school.
The catalog was set to drop first and then each week, for five weeks, a targeted email would be sent. The email content was themed wach week and sent visitors to a specific landing page with updated content. This campaign was the first of its kind at DEMCO®, crossing over first from print seemlessly into email and the web.
Our roles for this successful campaign included project lead and art direction, concept, copywriting, design, HTML/CSS code, and email newsletter creation.
