A couple years ago, the Tropicana Las Vegas Casino Hotel Resort was looking to refocus its advertising. A historical resort, in Vegas standards, it's new look would have to represent the experience its guests have come to expect.
The idea behind our branding campaign concept was presenting the Tropicana as a "new perspective" of Las Vegas resort to its guests. The Tropicana is sill bold and fun, but it is also a place for relaxation and experiencing lasting moments with your family and friends. Since the Tropicana logo has a strong sense of movement, we wanted to make sure this element was carried throughout the campaign. Using the angles of the logo in the collateral pieces gives the atmosphere a sense of life. The photography chosen captures guests in their "moments."
Our role in this project was concept, design, copyrighting.
In the end, the client was very happy with the concepts presented, however they ultimately decided to go in a completely different direction.
